Temporary/Winter School Application

Saipan Seventh-day Adventist School is a family oriented, Christ-centered school committed to making an impact in the lives of our school family and the surrounding community. Our teachers are dedicated to providing an excellent education that meets the goals and needs of parents and students alike. We are part of a large and diverse educational system, operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which encompasses over 5,000 schools worldwide. Our campus houses both a Child Development Center for students between 2 years old and 4 years old, and an elementary school with students from Kindergarten to 8th Grade.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church operates the second largest school system in the world, with over 1 million students ranging from preschool through university. Included in our academic curriculum is a strong ELL (English Language Learners) program. This program allows students with no or limited knowledge of the English language to improve their language skills through mainstream classroom immersion. We offer ELL programs for Summer School and Winter School with a goal that these students will become independent learners in a school environment that affirms linguistic and cultural diversity.

Our current Summer Program is focused on developing the following skills:

  • Grammar & Reading
  • Writing
  • Listening & Speaking
  • Remedial Math & Reading
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Life Skills

Our Winter Program is a mainstream classroom immersion where ELL students will get to experience the same academic program as our regular students.
