The staff of the Saipan Seventh-day Adventist School enjoys the unique opportunity of working on a beautiful Pacific island, with many of the commodities of the mainland U.S., in a vastly blended, Asian culture—thus merging the best of both worlds. Saipan is conveniently located in the middle of the Pacific within a few hours’ flight from Guam, China, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Australia, and many other beautiful Pacific Islands. Aside from being a great home base from which to travel around Asia and the Pacific, as a United States Territory, Saipan is easily accessible to prospective teachers from the states because there are no immigration restrictions for U.S. Citizens and Residents.
Saipan is known for its laid-back lifestyle, cultural diversity, beautiful island scenery, and ocean life. The local hospitality and array of available recreational activities are enough to keep anyone happily occupied. Along with its natural beauty, Saipan also attracts people because it has its share of WWII history.
Employment at Saipan Seventh-day Adventist School provides teachers with the opportunity to travel throughout Asia, live on one of the Pacific’s hidden gems, and impact the lives of the people around them. Yes, our staff is fortunate to live on a beautiful island, but our focus always remains to reach and provide quality education to those who most need it around us. Our school follows the U.S. educational system. The curriculum we are now using was written by the educational experts and consultants at the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist Educational Headquarters in Washington D.C. However, we strive to teach more than just academics—we hope to share values that live up to Seventh-day Adventist standards of excellence
